Sarah Palin slams the “liberal media” on her way out the door. My only regret about her leaving her job is that she didn’t do it in public disgrace.

I doubt that’s the end of her, especially when there are people like my wife’s uncle around who refer to her as “The best thing to ever happen to American politics.” How consistent failure can be the “best thing ever” is beyond me, though.
Ugh.
She’ll wind up as a host on Fox News, and we’ll never have to see her again, except on “The Daily Show,” when she says something especially stupid. Which, I predict, will be often. So we’ll be seeing her again. Never mind.
This should be viewed as public disgrace. Leaving your elected office early because you’re bored, or need to start your presidential campaign, or want a nap is disgraceful!! Sleeping with someone who’s not your spouse is what politicians and many many many other human beings do, and has nothing to do with the job you spent other people’s money and time obtaining. Besides, anyone throwing stones at these “disgraces” is highly suspect, as we all have come to know. This is truly the most disgraceful step down from office, on par with Nixon’s resignation.
