That is so neat! Is it similar to a hat pattern?

  2. Yeah, pretty much. I hope to make my second one with more of a difference, though – wider top, narrower bottom.

LOVE IT! These would be perfect for you-know-what…Get to work!

  4. Ha! Okay!

For eating cereal? Hm. Probably not.

  6. So how did you make it? That looks really cool!

  7. It’s from this book, but there are patterns all over the internets.

That’s great! You should sell them – I’d use one on my desk.

I second that – you should sell them! I would totally buy some. They are so cute!

  10. Hear that, Susie? ;)

    Ahem. See my comment above!

How about you DON’T make the Fingerless Garter Mitts? What the fuck are those?

  15. Ha – I’ve actually made fingerless gloves like that before, for when my office was really cold but I still needed to type.

(note to self: throw away the five pairs of fingerless garter mitts made for Rona)

  16. Hmm – so there is knitting/crocheting/whatever involved. Add my vote to the “you should sell them” crowd; there’s no way I’d have one of my own, otherwise.

  17. Yes, it’s knitting. :)

  18. Great bowl! Is this the second, more rounded one? Please to explain what is inside your bowl? Thanksing you.

  19. No, this is the first one I was telling you about.

Inside are some pens, and a set of coasters I found made of used magazines.

They just gave me violent falshbacks to the fingerless black lace gloves I willingly sported in the ’80s, along with my flourescent, oversized, off-shouldered sweatshirts. That were buckled with a black studded wrap-around belt. Then worn over stirrup pants.
I’ve got to go vomit now.

That made me laugh, which I need today.

I’m so using that line next time someone compliments my pants.

  22. Rona, please send photos. ;)

Michael, WHY ARE MY PENS AND COASTERS FUNNY?

  23. And, one might ask, why are they in my pants?

  24. Inside were some pens, and a set of coasters made of used magazines.

It could also be the autopsy report of an Olsen twin.
