I didn’t get the cement shoes joke until it was explained in the discussion. What a stupid “joke”. I was thinking it was going to be in the vein of since the wifey needs to spend more of your hard-earned money on silly shoes, then … that’s where the joke would need to come in. So stupid.

Ugg. So gross! And all the people who don’t get why this is offensive and say “Oh, it’s just a joke!” makes it even worse. I don’t know. Maybe I don’t have the same sense of humor, working in the domestic violence field and all.
