I'm from Pennsylvania and that's something I grew up on! EVERY bake sale had these things...of course, some were better than others. Your's look so lovely! It's funny because I went to PA for a visit recently and brought about 12 of these huge whoopie pies home along with a shoo fly pie that I bought from a Mennonite store. I had to carry them on the plane. Did I get some looks when it went through security! They didn't bother me so much but they made my mom get rid of her huge hand cream container! I brought home chocolate, red velvet, pumpkin, chocolate with peanut butter and carrot cake ones. They were delicious! Wow! Thanks for the memories! What kind of filling do you have here?
