Weekend Wrapup
Monday, July 14, 2008 at 08:18amHow was your weekend? I am a wild party animal and went to bed Friday night at 9:30 and proceeded to sleep for twelve hours. I spent most of Saturday watching the geekboy work on the new TMFT design (isn’t it great?), and yesterday we went to my parents’ house to swim in the pool and hang out. I got lazy and didn’t put on sunblock when I should have, and I’m paying for it today. Pink! I’m STILL feeling out of sorts, and the hacking cough is wiping me out, so I think I might suck it up today and go to the doctor.

I did practically nothing all weekend. A long run on Sunday morning (which went well…Chicago Marathon, here I come!), and then a lot of reading (A Whole New Mind, about right/left brain thinking and the world economy, and The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, which is starting out all kinds of awesome). Oh, and many episodes of Gossip Girl. I will not apologize.

i have a pink back, so i feel your pain FG! outside a lot w/the kids in the kiddie pool, did some gardening, saw “i am legend”—-it was okay, not great.
had mimosas w/friends yesterday….that was about it, pretty relaxing weekend.

I went to New York City and saw Spring Awakening and Rent for possibly the last time. Both were excellent and it wasn’t too hot in the city and pretty much a perfect weekend.

George was craaaazy-busy signing autographs and such, but yep, he was very excited about his wedding and described the spectacular honeymoon they have planned. I also shook hands with Brad and congratulated him - what a sweet guy. Oh, and George said he IS inviting Shatner, contrary to some media reports, but he doubts the Shat will show.
