Weekend Plans
Doing anything fun this weekend? Tonight we’re going to a local comedy club to see Craig Robinson, aka Darryl from The Office. I’m looking forward to it — I’ve read that his stand up is pretty free-form and improvisational. Before the show, we plan to drink Guinness and eat meat.
This weekend is the SuperBowl, too. We’re not big sports fans here at FreakGeek Estates, but we usually put the game on and have a few beers anyway. Plus, afterward is a special episode of The Office!

Ooh you’ll have fun tonight!! I went to a sketch show last year and he was the host. He was behind his keyboards most of the time, improvising songs while talking to us. A lot of his act was talking sexy to the ladies. :) We were too shy to go up to him after the show, he already seemed to have quite the crowd.

I’m going shopping on Saturday, and then watching the game on Sunday. I really only watch for the commercials, and since my Eagles once again choked, I don’t really care who wins. I am excited about The Office episode after, I saw an ad for it this morning with Angela tossing her cat up into the ceiling and almost died laughing. From that tidbit, it looks promising.

Last night I had dinner with author Joe Haldeman and his wife, then introduced him before his speech to the Philly SF Society. Very. Cool.
Tomorrow we’re going to a big ol’ Superbowl Party at a friend’s house. Not so much to watch the game, but mainly to eat and drink and shmooze. Fun!
