Weekend Plans?

Friday, August 01, 2008 at 11:44am

Up to anything good this weekend? I know Jason will be celebrating his birthday, so wish him well! Tonight I think we’re just going to relax and try to recover from last night’s show…I might make another zucchini bread, yum. Tomorrow we plan to see Young @ Heart at a local movie venue, and perhaps grab a beer afterward with friends. Then Sunday, we’re doing the whole Big Rock Show Thing again, when we go see The Police along with Elvis Costello & The Imposters. Please send out some good vibes that no trucks flip over on the Garden State Parkway, kthx. I’m exhausted.

    yay J.! Happy happy!

We’re going to go to something called Castlefest. There will be Gothlings, wannabewitches and roleplayers and re-enactors. We will be bringing our cameras and normal selves. I think it will be fun!

Aw thanks! Having seen both Young @ Heart and the Police, you’re in for a great weekend. We’ll be celebrating my birthday by letting me sleep in (which these days is an all to rare occurrence) going out for brunch, and then possibly getting a babysitter and doing some sort of combination of dinner and/or a movie.

Have fun at The Police! I hear if Sting doesn’t show up, Ricky Gervais will go on instead. http://snipurl.com/38z8t (Scroll down to “Week 19.”#

    Castlefest sounds fun!

This weekend I’m going to try to get as organized as possible and plan out my month’s work for my upcoming craft sale, and then on Sunday we’re having friends come over for BBQ and drinks. It’s a long weekend here, Simcoe Day.
