We got this nice red down-feather throw for Christmas, and the geekboy uses it on the couch when we’re watching tv, right? Well, it’s all covered in cat hair so I decided to toss it in the wash. Then I decided to also toss in our multi-colored bathrug. Then, since I was running a cold cycle, I tossed in a towel that was sitting in the laundry basket. I just pulled all three out of the dryer, and now my bath towel (formerly a buff color) is now an odd shade of pink. So is the row of white cloth on the bath rug. Damn. My own fault, I guess, I should have realized that even in a cold cycle, the wet laundry would still get warm and bleed in the dryer. Doy.
