Virus Alert
Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 10:33amThere’s an email virus going around, with the return address “postcards@hallmark.com.” If you receive an email saying you’ve received a postcard from Hallmark, be smart and don’t open the attachment.

I just got this email and stupidly, I read it. I also clicked on the attachment. However, when I clicked on the zip file, the .exe file wouldn’t open. My MacBook told me to choose an application with which to view so I just threw both files in the trash.
Did I expose my laptop to the virus, or didn’t I technically open the attachment?
Yikes!!

I don’t think you can launch the file if you don’t open the attachment? But do a virus scan just in case.
