I Pity The Fool? Not on there?? What?
November 28th, 2006 - 10:23
Was that really a TV catchphrase, though? Or just Mr. T’s catchphrase?

“Think about the teenagers!” – Co11een 1, alt.tv.bh90210
Well, it’s slightly tv-related isn’t it?

I don’t think they really made a distinction regarding TV or Personal Catchphrase (see Emeril’s BAM or–gag–Paris Hilton “That’s Hot”)…
November 28th, 2006 - 10:39
Well, those were both from TV shows, right? But I see your point. It should be there.

And Ivon – HA!
November 28th, 2006 - 11:04
Pity the fool – not A-Team related – should not be on list.
:)

It’s on TV now, though, in his stupid reality show. But I guess it doesn’t fit in with the rest on the list. Sorry, Lee. I keep changing my mind. :)

That’s what she said! (The Office/Scrubs)
Dirty! (Gilmore Girls)
November 28th, 2006 - 12:00
Or, as TVGasm added, “But first!”
November 28th, 2006 - 12:01
“Dirty!” is from Gilmore Girls?! I thought it was from here.

ooooh controversy! I don’t care about Mr. T that much to argue, honestly. (and now that I’ve said that) But wasn’t there a Mr. T cartoon?? And Did he not say that on the A-Team? Not really caring, just curious.

“This is Carlton, your doorman.” from Rhoda
“Spongeworthy” or about a dozen others from Seinfeld
“Hey you guuuuuys!!” or “It’s the plumber. I’ve come to fix the sink.” from the Electric Company (which my kids are watching right now)
“I couldn’t help but wonder…” Carrie from Sex and the City
“More cowbell.” Christopher Walken on SNL
It’s too bad gestures can’t be included; I’d add the fist-smashing insult from Friends.

Ha!!!

More cowbell should be on every list of everything.
“I got a fever. And the only prescription … is more cowbell.”

Yeah, there’s a dozen Seinfeld ones that should’ve been there, most notably, “Not that there’s Anything wrong with that”
