Toronto Advice Needed

Hey Toronto peeps! Reader Nora needs your help:

I’m getting married in Toronto in August and am looking for a restaurant at which to have an after-ceremony dinner. We’re looking for something that will be fancy enough for a big day, but also someplace that will welcome kids (5 under six years old). We’d love someplace that has a private room/alcove for our group of about 15 people total. Near downtown would be nice, but not a requirement.

List your suggestions in the comments – with links to websites if possible. Thanks!

I’d recommend Noce. The food is amazing and the service is fantastic. They have a back room which I think they can extend out to a private patio. I can’t say enough good things about the owners – total quality. There is also a Green P Parking lot around there.

Here are a few suggestions that have private dining (I have a list of restaurants that I love but I know these can accommodate private dining and do them well):

    Bodega

    Veni Vidi Vici

The Old Mill (just outside of downtown, west end). I had to put this one down because had my wedding there and they were awesome and the food great. We had a large room but they have smaller more intimate rooms available.

Ten Restaurant – not in Toronto, but a west-end suburb called Mississuaga. Great upper floor private dining.

And for a more private getaway for two (if you can get one), the CN Tower 360 revolving restaurant is great. Jill and I celebrated there the night we got married in Toronto.
