Tissue Paper Massacre

Friday, May 09, 2008 at 10:36am

So, which one of us is dumber — the one who left a tissue in his/her pants or the one who washed said pants without checking them first? I’m definitely the latter; here’s hoping I’m not also the former.

I hate it when that happens.

oh man - last time i got back from philly, i dumped my bag of dirty clothes into the washer…well my things shifted in flight and two books ended up in that bag and i didn’t notice. i washed them both and am STILL trying to get paper out of my clothes/washer/dryer! hopefully, your toilet paper will dissolve faster than books do. hehehe

Oh god. I would have had the BIGGEST HISSY.

Although, how can you not notice the sound of a BOOK in the washing machine?

We had a similar argument about 6 months ago - except it was a cell phone left in a pocket of his shorts that he left on top of the washing machine. I didn’t check them and the phone went for a spin and died. We still argue over whose fault that was! (HIS!)

I think it was my tissue.

I forgot to mention that it is always my own fault when this happens to me. I am the only one who puts tissues in her pockets…

fg - i usually wash and run! i like to start a load in the morning and then leave for work so all i have to do is dry when i get home and i’m all caught up on the laundry.

but just for the record, if i had been there, i totally wouldn’t have noticed. and if i had, i totally wouldn’t have gotten up to check it out. i’m that lazy.

I am terrified to run the washer if I’m not home, especially after the Great Washing Machine Flood of 2000.
