I do have a brother and he is even thinner and more handsome than I am, but alas he is a republican suburbanite married with two kids. So yes, he's very much gay.

I appreciate bigger and longer as much as the next gay, but I ADORED the Granville Island Market. We roamed around there for lunch and shopping and whatever on a few afternoons off from skiing. I really love Vancouver. It's so vibrant and international and rainforest-y. Peapod would be great for everything except the produce, where I'm again like Chuck and want my hands on it. Chuck, you don't have a strangely single brother, do you?

We used to do Peapod when we lived in DC. I don't recommend them for produce, but for everything else they're great. We'd always tip $5.

Loulou - I checked out the Vancouver market - looks AWESOME. Very much like ours, except ours is bigger with more stuff and has been around longer.

$10 sounds very appropriate, Sandy. I think that's what we'll do.

I love love love Peapod! I get diet coke delivered to me at the office (yeah, so what?) and I get kitty litter (among other things) delivered to me at home. No more carrying heavy stuff! It's great when I'm having a party, then I don't have to carry all of that alcohol and soda and ice (but mostly alcohol).

I generally tip $10 for my orders (which are about $100). They say on the website that no tip is expected, but come on.

They do deliver groceries here too, but it doesn't feel right. We've never used it.

I enjoy picking out my own fruit and veggies too much, plus I live a mile from the best Farmer's Market in the world, so it's easy for me.
