The Worst Springsteen Song Ever Written
Critics are not loving a certain track from Bruce Springsteen’s newest effort, and their comments border on hilarity. I heard a few cuts from the album on the radio the other night, and while I like “Working on a Dream,” I wasn’t much impressed with the rest. Ah well.

Whoa, you know it’s bad when someone compares you to Meatloaf.

Worse of all is that they weren’t comparing it to Meatloaf the singer- they were comparing it to the Boston Market meatloaf that they left in the back of their car since New Years. I am almost speechless. What the hell? Bruce’s songs rank among the best songs of all time. He has had his misses in the past but they were always relatively good compared to the other garbage that is out there. These songs are not. In fact they are painfully unlistenable. The only exception is “the Wrestler.” The record has no backbone. I give it no stars.

give it some time. i’ve been listening to it all day and it’s starting to grow on me, like mold on a meatloaf. no seriously, it’s not that bad. it’s no “magic” but that was a tough act to follow…
