The Craft Lounge Party
Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 09:48amLast night’s grand opening party went really well. The shop is INCREDIBLE, and Susie, Kathy and Jen have every reason to be proud. The decor is warm and inventive, and the products are high quality and lovely. There’s a crafting area in the back and a nice little lounge area for knitting and relaxing. I can’t wait to go back and do some shopping and see the place really set up. A couple photos after the jump, but you can see the entire set here.

The cupcakes seemed to be a hit. I think we went through about five dozen.

A friend of Susie’s made marizpan toppers for some of the cupcakes. Very cute!!!

Craft cabinet in the back of the shop. So nice.

Emilie’s Mama products!

Beautiful yarn by Maggie!

I totally want to shop there! So pretty and full of fun stuff! I love how everything has its place and it’s so colourful. There is a shop near my gym that is similar to this, full of fancy paper and sparkly stuff. Sometimes I go in after a workout and just lovingly stroke ribbons.
Good luck girls! I’m sure it will be a success.

I’m salivating!
Oh how I wish this store was in Nelson B.C.

Oh, how I wish there was one near me! What a cool, fun place. I’m totally jealous.

Susie, cngratulations! You and your partners should be so proud! It’s gorgeous, and I wish I could have been there! Debbie, your cupcakes made me all drooly. I still haven’t tasted your key lime ones!
My yarn looks so pretty.

Thanks, everyone! FG’s cupcakes were the hit of our party, and our first week was a big success. If any of you are ever in the NYC area, please stop by the shop!
