My buddy and I got stuck at the top of the “Hellavator” at Six Flags over Kentucky Kingdom a few years ago. The Hellavator is one of those 12-story free fall drop things. We got to the top, waited for it to fall, waited, waited, realized we were waiting a little too long, waited some more, and realized we were stuck. Fortunately, they were able to back it back down after about 10 minutes, and after they reset it, we were right back on.

Of course, we wouldn’t have been if we would have known that the same ride, renamed The Superman Tower of Power would cut a teenagers feet off.

Yikes! I don’t really fear the heights. That must have been an ordeal for you.

I felt very “one time? at band camp?” as I typed my lil’ story because it’s a tale I tell over and over. Heh. Probably even right here at freakgirl.
