i sent this to my comic nerd, who loves chris ware (as i do, such beautiful work). don’t know brunetti, i don’t think.
did you know that seth wears that three-piece suit and hat every day, even in the dead heat of summer? from what jay has told me, he’s a pompous weirdo. but i like his work, too.

Chris Ware is the only one out of those three that I’m familiar with…seems like lately, the whole world is discovering him.

Hey, freakgirl.
Ivan Brunetti’s Schizo #4 just came out, and it’s brilliant. Some biographies, some autobiography, some essays, a couple of gag strips… A really well-rounded, beautifully done book. And if you like horrible, vile gag strips (I do), his Haw! and Hee! books have made more than a couple of my friends cry. If you’re interested, I interviewed him for Comic Book Galaxy recently: http://www.comicbookgalaxy.com/ivanbrunetti.html
Seth’s Wimbledon Green is hilariously geeky, and It’s a Good Life If You Don’t Weaken is awesome. Clyde Fans I’m on the fence about until it’s finished. Book One left me a little frustrated on its own, though.
