Yeah, she’s pretty messed up. So now she needs publicity and it’s okay for her to come out and say she lied. Whatever! She’s still married to a gay man. When do you think she’ll admit THAT?
OH WOW WHAT A SHOCK! Like so duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Star.
I think people who go through with the G.B. look so very horrible—sorry :( (I know 5 people who had that and they all look bad).
I don’t really understand when it’s time to have gastric bypass, healthwise. Because at first I thought it was a pretty much life-or-death situation. Now it seems like anyone who can afford it, gets it. Mainly, it’s a huge risk to have such major surgery when you are that heavy, because the layers of fat impede healing (I watched something on TLC). The risk of complications from infection are astronomical. Then you suffer while your insides struggle to work the way they should, but can’t. The whole concept of dumping scares me…why would you choose this if there are other options?
I don’t think there is anything wrong with the surgery per se, I just don’t understand the draw if there are other options.
Very good point, Maggie. I thought it was life-or-death as well, but I guess if you have enough money, you can get it.
I remember on one of the first episodes of Kathy Griffin’s reality show, her then-husband wanted gastric bypass but wasn’t considered fat enough to get it. So he would go to weigh-ins with rocks in his pockets. Heh.

I maintain she looked better fat. Now she looks like a deflated Kermit the Frog balloon.

She really does look weird. Like her body does NOT want to be that weight. There’s something called a healthy balance, Star, look into it.

I thought it was just so stupid that she lied about it when she was asked.

Well, in her defense, gastric bypass isn’t about looking good as much as it’s about health. But I think she’s gone a bit around the bend.
