Spongebob Squarepants Cupcakes
I made these for Sophie (Shannon’s daughter) for her 5th birthday party. I hear they went over well. Yay! More after the jump.
Three dozen, mixed vanilla and chocolate, topped with plastic Spongebob rings and rolled in sprinkles. Tinted blue buttercream frosting.

Aha, rings! what a great idea. A nice takeaway for kids. I thought it was maybe some sort of icing mold you used, but this is actually a better idea. Very cool, very cute.

Yeah, that’s the great thing about doing character cakes — there are always products out there to help. And it’s cute to have a little toy on the cupcake!
