Sony PSP
Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 09:25amWho has some recommendations on good PSP games? I’m looking for things like puzzles, word games, Tetris-type stuff, etc. Things I can play that will make my brain work a little bit. But not too much, of course. Oddly enough, I also love Streetfighter-type games.

Lumines. Hands down. Tetris on crack. Mercury is anothe rpuzzle game, but it’s fricking hard. Both Lumines and Mercury have sequels coming out, too.
There actually is an old-school Street Fighter port (Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max) for it, and a Tekken, too. But they kind of blow. As does Darkstalkers. I’d maybe wait. There’s a MK game coming, at the very least.
Personal recs: Hot Shots Golf was suprisingly addictive. And it’s a Greatest Hit now, so cheap! SW Battlefront 2. And yanno, Lemmings.
I got very tired of my PSP, really fast. Because I don’t play a lot of sports game, the fps sucked (seriously, to this day, it’s still slim pickings - but Call of Duty is coming, so hurrah), and I can play cracked out tetris on a DS. I was the worst sales person when it came to the PSP, heh.

What’s fps?
No matter if we get bored of it either; it was free!
Did you ever watch movies on yours?

Haa haa, First Person Shooters, sorry
I watched movies, and all the BSG episodes I had to download, rawr. And that was the best part of it, for me. Kind of sad; but now they’ve reduced the size of movie support, and the games are picking up again. Plus, if you’re so inclined, the homebrews are teh awesome.
Free stuff makes everything better. My Gameboy Micro swag went towards my DS Lite, heh.

You should check out Loco Roco It’s one of those super cute Japanese games, complete with children singing, cute cheery backgrounds and a strange bubble character that you navigate across a strange Mario-like world.
I’m not good at describing it. But it’s worth checking out. Promise!
