We have to keep them in a separate room from the other cats, as the kittens were in the shelter and could be carrying around a lot of nasty germs. Apparently a volunteer here recently let some fosters live, eat and poo with her regular cats, and one of her regular cats got very sick and died. Horrible. However, my guess is that Meena would hiss, scream, and run away. Meena hasn’t seen them, only heard/smelled them.
