Sad News
Monday, January 07, 2008 at 08:40amUsually I reserve this spot on Monday mornings to talk about my weekend. Today, instead, I’m sad to let all you animal lovers out there know that Lisa’s cat Sally passed away yesterday after falling ill a week or so ago. It was a very hard day for Lisa and she was such a good mommy to Sally, all the way up until the end. Bye bye, Baby Girl.

I am so, so sorry Lisa. Sending you lots of hugs. It is so hard to let our furry friends go. They bring us so much joy and love with out any conditions. Try and take some solace in the wonderful life you gave Sally - no cat could have asked for a better mommy.

I am really very sorry to hear about Sally. I am sure she knew how much she was loved and loved you just as much in return. I have two cats of my own and can’t even bring myself to think of them gone. Please take care.

Lisa, I’m so sorry to hear about Sally. I have three fur balls and like Sandra can’t bring myself to think of losing them even though they are 14, 13, and 12.

Sorry for your loss. I still cry when I think about the kitty I lost 2 years ago. The hardest thing about pets is watching them grow old and losing them.

I got to meet Sally and she was very sweet and good, and showed us around Lisa’s apartment to where the food and water bowls were. Pretty Baby Girl.

I’m so sorry about the kitty. I had to put my beautiful horse down over the holidays so I know what Lisa is going through. All we can do is love them and give them the best lives we can, and I know Lisa did that for Sally.
