   i’m with maggie. there are no words…except that i wish they’d find the attackers. and release their names to the public. if they won’t take ‘em to jail, bring ‘em back to texas.

   Wow, I don’t even know where to begin. That is such a sad story. I wish we could find the names of her attackers and post them up on a billboard somehwere with their pictures and the caption: These men are brutal rapists. SO terrible.

   I have a friend who was ‘roofied’ by a co-worker on a business trip in a hotel bar and then raped so badly she will most likely never be able to conceive. I don’t know if there’s a more virulent strain of hatred than the one I have for those types of people.

    Seriously every time I read the RoR i end up sick to my stomach.

    This is so horrible beyond words. It’s like you know these things happen but it still shocks to read about when it does.

    I sincerely hope she is able to find some peace one day

    i hope she gets enough money to live quite nicely on without ever having to work again. can you imagine…her fear…of everything?

    jeez…and her father? get a call from overseas saying - i’m in a storage container? for fuck’s sake…..

    I’m glad that her father new just what to do. I’m thinking about it again, and I can’t believe there are humans like this out there. These people are sociopaths.

    I’d like to think that there’s a special (and particularly unpleasant) place in Hell reserved for rapists. I think I hate very few actions more than rape, but hurting a child immediately comes to mind. With things like this happening, it’s hard to believe that stories like the one below also make the news:

    Peter, usually I just try to ignore the inflammatory and off-topic things you post, but I’m speaking up. Everyone, EVERYONE, whether or not you approve of their career choice, deserves a workplace with an atmosphere of respect. This woman was being sexually harassed by HER SUPERIORS.

    I find your “what does she expect” comment both sexist and ignorant. I guess Ms. Jones is a victim because she didn’t work in a strip club. But the woman that worked in a strip club was asking for it. Nice.
