I saw him when I first moved to the States. He was already more political commentator than comedian in those days, but he’s always been dancing on that line, and a lot of good can be said for that. He will be missed.

I saw him a number of years ago; he was fantastic. I always wondered what it must be like to live inside his head.

Here’s hoping you can say S**t, P**s, F**k, C**t, C**ksucker, Motherf**ker and T**s in the afterlife, George.

This is a sad thing to have to wake up to.

I remember the first time I saw George Carlin on HBO. I was about 12 years old and I had never laughed so hard in my life. From that point on I was hooked. Very sad Monday morning news

I saw that on the news when I woke up way early this morning, and my only response was “Well, FUCK!”

I am thoroughly bummed about this.

So sad. Saw him twice in concert and he rocked hard.

Oh no. I really loved to watch him. I saw a live performance once back in the early 1970’s in San Francisco. He was opening for Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show.
My wife had a calendar of his witticisms and kept sticking quotes on our refrigerator door. We’ll miss him a great deal.
