RIP Dave Cockrum
Comic book illustrator Dave Cockrum (X-Men) died over the weekend. He passed away in his favorite chair, wearing his Superman pajamas. How sweet is that? RIP.

Very sad. This is the guy who gave us (visually) Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Storm, and Colossus, who have been staples of the the X-Men universe ever since.

The X-Men were my favourite comic EVER!
Am I the only one who found it odd that he gave us such great Marvel Comics characters, but died in his Superman pajamas, under his Batman blanket, and cremated in his Green Lantern shirt, all DC Comics characters.
