What station? WFMU?
You may or may not know that that is the first song on the wedding compilation CD my wife and I assembled as a party favor to our guests. It immediately follows an audio recording of my actual proposal. A friend of mine was on site to record a Ryan Adams concert and I popped the question in front of the the 1200 people gathered for the show and he taped the proposal.
I saw Rhett backstage at a show earlier this year and told him of the prominent place in our hearts and on our CD his song had and he was thrilled. Such a nice guy that Rhett.

I didn’t know that was on your wedding compilation! How sweet. I did know you popped the question on stage — very cool. And I’m jealous that you’ve met Rhett a few times. He thought you were his old roommate, didn’t he?

Yeah, Rhett thought I was his old roomie Brad, who I’ve subsequently seen a few times, most recently at Killing Joke.
