Run out of things to be angry about, have you?

    Pot, kettle calling.

    Um, name-calling is so 1st grade.

    I don’t even care about the “pinhead” remarks — that’s his stupid trademark. Whatever. But seriously? One line in a Coldplay song? A song that Chris Martin and the band have been very forthright about; that it’s a protest song? Slow news day at FOX, I guess.

    I’m annoyed by the fact that he just tosses out the plagiarism accusation with absolutely no context, then drops it. “Who knows if that’s true?” Well … you theoretically work on a NEWS channel, douchebag. Maybe you could FIND OUT if it’s true before you make the statement? Wouldn’t that be the FAIR AND BALANCED thing to do? These questions are rhetorical, of course, because we all know that what he’s really doing is slandering … without quite slandering. Presumably in retaliation for the fact that Chris Martin “frequently cheap shots” the FOX Network, and isn’t “man enough” to discuss it with him face to face.

    Bill, did you ever stop to think that you’re just not worth his time? That maybe he doesn’t care what you or the Sith Lords at FOX think of him? That he’s probably not even aware that you just called him a pinhead? When he takes those cheap shots, he’s not talking TO you, he’s talking ABOUT you, and therefore has no obligation to discuss it with you. Douche.

    Well, Obama hasn’t fist-bumped anyone for days…..

    I doubt Bill even invited Chris Martin on the show. That’s what makes his “not man enough” comment even more irritating.

    Some dude is accusing Coldplay of plagiarizing one of his songs…who knows if it’s true. I rarely care much about things like this unless it’s just undeniable — music is so much about a collective consciousness, you know?

    It’s hard for one to get righteously angry when it’s one’s side doing all the horrifying things. At least Keith Olbermann is justified in his anger (and employs fact-checkers).

    Freakgirl, I can’t believe you missed this headline on the page you linked to …

    Sex Pistols’ John Lydon calls Coldplay “men in anoraks” and “poncy masturbators”

    It kinda puts O’Really’s “pinhead” comment to shame. Especially since I wasn’t sure what an “anorak” was until I looked it up. “Poncy” I kind of guessed at, though.

    Oh, Johnny. Why so cranky?

    ::headdesk::

    It’s humorous to me that Bill O’Reilly should even care what Chris Martin thinks. Fox News should be used to the general population hating them by now anyway.
