Just like freaky designers to steal and put controversal political spin on clothes. I do believe they dressed Rachael in this scarf for the whole shock bonus.. and were more shocked when the public protested.
Don’t forget Cameron Diaz carrying an olive green bag emblazoned with a red star and the words “Serve the People” printed in Chinese, perhaps Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong’s most famous political slogan.

The bags are marketed as fashion accessories in some world capitals, but in Peru the slogan evokes memories of the Maoist Shining Path insurgency that fought the government in the 1980s and early 1990s in a bloody conflict that left nearly 70,000 people dead.

That’s so funny because just the other day I was out for a walk with my daughter, who I adopted from Guatemala with my domestic partner (we hyphenated her last name… Engle-Wood…isn’t that great?), and this lady would not stop staring. I thought it was because I’d just spilled some kefir on my keffiyah, but maybe she thought I was a terrorist!
