Quick-Dry Nail Polish

I recently tried out some Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish to use on my toes. Verdict: Yes! It went on nicely (not thick and goopy like some quick-dry nail polishes) and dried shiny. It stayed put for a week on my toes, but did chip off my fingernails rather quickly. Anyway, just wanted to let you know. What’s your favorite brand of polish?

  1. For regular polish, nothing beats OPI for shine and how long it lasts. If you want something quick and long-lasting, though, you might want to try the stick on polish patches from Sephora. Though they require a bit of coordination to stick on the strips, once they’re on, you’re done, immediately — no waiting, no drying. They last at least five days. If you’re not scrubbing dishes or anything, they can go for almost two weeks.

  2. I love OPI. But I usually need quick-dry because I hate sitting around and waiting.

I’ve never tried the polish patches — I’d been wondering if they really work well. Good to know.

I use OPI a lot, love the names of the colors they have. I also have Rimmel 60-seconds dry at home in a sparkly pink that I LOVE, especially on the toes. It’s the only quick-dry that I’ve found that doesn’t get goopy, like you said. I’m very impatient so I must have. I’ve found that the only other that is really good is Sally Hansen. Really good brushes and it lasts.

I like Sally Hansen Extreme Wear. It’s not a quick-dry formula but it lasts for days without chipping and is nice and shiny.
