I wonder if Mary Kate is part Maine Coon cat? I'm pretty sure my cat Byron is because he has enormous feet, tabby stripes on his head, and a big plumy tail, but (sadly?) he only ended up being a 12lb cat when full grown, instead of the up to 30 that purebred males can be. I had planned on having Jeremy neutered and Nia spayed at the same time (this Thursday actually) to avoid the trauma of them being separated from each other, as they have also never been apart. I even requested they be put in a cage together or next to each other at the vet. Then I found out that Jeremy can come home the next day and Nia has to stay at the vet for two days, so despite my best intentions they will be separated. I am most worried about Nia. Jeremy will have me around and will at least be in his home environment, but poor Nia will be alone in a strange cage. I am hoping she is just so doped up that it won't be super stressful for her. She is so cute.
