  1. My word, three babies from presumeably one mother in the same place…. that’s heartbreaking.

  2. Ugh. Ok, now I’m depressed. Moving on to a funnier post of yours.

  3. I hope they only put these stickers in that woman’s house, on her car, at her job, etc.

  4. This is beyond sick.

  5. ***Pulls out the freaking soapbox again…*** I saw this the other day. Keep in mind that this is a small community and the person who is doing this is Hispanic and most likely a poor immigrant. I’m a mom and I am in no way defending what she has done, but I’ve met some really horrific victims of human trafficking where women live in situations of constant rape and virtual financial and physical slavery, and that is here in “problem free” Flemington NJ. The fact that others see a woman pregnant and then witness the fact that there is no child leans towards the idea that this woman is not in the most supportive and safe environment. These abandonments may be an attempt to get the child somewhere safe. Why wouldn’t she drop the baby off at a firehouse, a police station, or a hospital. First go to Mexico and deal with the police, hospitals, etc., and then tell me you would trust them, especially if you fall into the wrong caste. If she is illegal (and I’d bet the farm she is,) and if she is in an unsafe environment, can you see that any building or people that represents authority would be prohibitive, even for those who understand our society and our laws? There should be notices, stickers, billboards, etc, everywhere, for every teen and every person pregnant and afraid to see so that no other baby suffers and no other mother has to do something so terrible and unthinkable. ***Steps down and returns to the dishes where the soapbox is much more useful!***

  6. That’s what I mean, Shannon…it’s so tragic that they even had to come up with the idea for stickers. And the stickers still don’t really communicate that there’s a safe haven.
