“Well (9/11), I’d just like (9/11) to thank Mr. (9/11) Robertson for his (9/11) support and endorsement in my (9/11) bid for the White (9/11) House… 9/11.”
Giuliani is moderate enough to steal quite a bit of votes from the dems. Also, I think (but do not condone) people will vote against senator Clinton simply because she’s a woman. There are enough voters who are still a few decades behind gender equality to be significant.
That said, the Republican nominee will have to run on a deeper message than “I’m not Bush” and/or “I’m not Hillary”. We all know how Kerry’s “I’m not Bush” campaign worked out.
I wish I didn’t feel this way with all my heart and soul - Giuliani will be our next president because the Republican Party knows how to nominate someone who can win an election, and the Democratic Party is living in a magical wonderland in which they believe a majority of the current population (I mean, the electoral college) will elect a black man or a woman to the Presidency.

I was watching that debate - Biden’s stand-up act is pretty good. He should take it on the road (cause he ain’t getting the nom).
I swear, Kucinich is my freakin hero. Too bad that guy will never have a shot.

I know. Kucinich seems to be the only guy in town who has a lick of sense.

He had no shot before the UFO thing, but that sho’ didn’t help. View for view, he’s the guy I can most relate to.
Still, I feel great about Clinton or Obama or Edwards, and their chances against Rudy.

Ugh, I don’t.

Please let me be wrong…

Jill (or anyone),
Would you prefer a straight popular vote to the electoral college? Just curious.
