So, the NYC Comic-Con was pretty fun. It had its problems (Saturday’s panels were ridiculously crowded and woefully unorganized) but we did enjoy ourselves and saw a lot of stuff and bought a lot of crap and all that. We grabbed some extra swag and once I get everything organized, I’ll be giving it away here on freakgirl.com. The geekboy’s recap is here.
A few photos after the jump.

Lou Ferrigno being interviewed. His arms are SO BIG, ya’ll.

Saw this poster and just loved it. People were stopping and staring at it all day.

Mark Stern (Sci-Fi Channel), Michael Trucco (Sam Anders), Rekha Sharma (Tory Foster), Michael Hogan (Col. Tigh)

Matt Seinreich and Seth Green of Robot Chicken, Steve Sansweet of LucasFilm

Gus Fink drew this for me…he asked what I wanted and I requested something in honor of my cat with extra toes.

Charlie B. gives Princess Leia a little tweak.

I saw Scott Adsit (Pete from 30 Rock!) on the con floor and had to run up to him and gush about the show. He was very sweet and friendly.

Pete! I would have been so excited to see him. What was it that his wife put on her nipples again?
That cat drawing is awesome, esp. the band-aid.
I swear that my best friend and Seth Green must have had the same nose guy.
One of the Comic-Con volunteers thought the geekboy was Seth Green. Too funny.
That cat drawing is amazing. You’re going to have to find a really good spot for it!
It looks like you guys had a lot of fun. :-)
Not to change the subject, but my family had a big weekend as well. My niece was born Sunday morning at 12:29am!!! Eva Sophia weighed in at a little over 9 pounds and 21 inches long. Mother and baby are doing well as are Dad and brother.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Did GB go with it and was Oz for a few sweet moments, or did he fess up right away?
That photo with Adsit is hilarious.
Here is a recap of the BSG panel (may contain slight spoilers from a quick trailer they showed of the upcoming season):

Hey, congrats, Bluebunny on the new wee bunny! Does that mean you’ve been on babysitting duty?
I was on babysitting duty overnight Saturday and then my sister-in-law’s aunt came on Sunday morning and took over. So, I had the easy shift as David slept the whole time.
Great pictures, it looks like you had tons ‘o fun.
Cat picture needs to go somewhere prominent! too cool
I’ll probably put it in our powder room. Weird, I know, but the most-visited area in the house!
It’ll be perfect in there. Also, that band-aid represents what will happen to YOU if you go near Meena. Rowr.
Great photos! Nice lens.
I posted my convention recap over on TMFT …

Good stuff but I have to ask. Do people powder themselves a lot in your house?
I was wondering who was going to make the first joke about me using the term “powder room.” My money was on Janet, though.
Late!!! I only powder my ass, though.
You never let me down.
