The gesture is not only insulting but also ridiculous, proven by the fact that he needed to actually tell the press about it. 251 days left.

The thing is, he actually did the right thing by thinking - hey, it’s not a cool thing to go out and play golf when guys are losing their lives. But it should have been something he did PRIVATELY and maybe DON’T MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT IT.
It just made him look even more like an ass. Not like it matters at this point of course…
