My Carpets, They Are Clean

Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 08:01am

So yeah, last night I just HAD to vacuum with the new Dyson. I didn’t bother vacuuming with my old machine first and THEN use the Dyson; what kind of fool do you take me for? I’m not cleaning twice. Anyway, we went through about 2 1/2 canisters of dust and hair. Wow. It even cleaned well on the tile. My current vacuum tends to blow stuff all over the place, but the Dyson seemed to catch just about everything. The attachments are kind of a pain to lug around, but they’re worth it, especially the mini-turbine head, which picked up a terrifying amount of Meena hair in one of her hiding places.

The only drawback is that you can really see how stained our carpet is in the living room. Meh. What is that Zorb stuff that comes with the Dyson? Has anyone used it? How do you use it?

Also, no, I didn’t take pictures. You people don’t need to see our filth, you twisted deviants!

I’m sort of disapponted that you didn’t express more glee and joy!

Heh. I’ve never been one to get overjoyed about cleaning. Also, I’m terrified I’m going to break it.

I really do love it; don’t get me wrong! I can finally vacuum our stairs! And our couches and comforter! Yay!

    That’s better! ; )
I just had to inform my friend recently about the benefits of comforter vacuuming. She’d never heard of it!

    Aw, Jill. I’m sorry.

Would you like to come over and vacuum this week?

Now that you have vacuumed attach the Groomer to the wand then sprinkle Zorb granules onto the carpet and use the Groomer for this.Leave for half an hour or until dry, then vacuum up the now dirty granules and your home will have a lovely fresh lemony smell.

O rily? I wonder if it would do anything to the myriad stains due to child negligence that seem to be ALL OVER OUR LIVING ROOM.
