Mmmmm, Ham!
Jones Soda has released their holiday flavors for this year. We love buying this soda for the kids on holidays and paying them 50¢ for each one they try. The newest flavors are broken down into the Christmas and Hanukkah packs. “Christmas” features Sugar Plum, Christmas Tree, Egg Nog and Christmas Ham. “Hanukkah” pack will have Jelly Doughnut, Apple Sauce, Chocolate Coins and Latkes. I am less grossed out by Christmas Ham (ham shot!) than I am by Christmas Tree, to be honest.

I feel like Christmas Tree would taste like Buckley’s cough syrup. The Hanukkah pack sounds delightful!

Oooh, I want to pour some of the apple sauce and the latkes together. Breakfast! Or as my niece says, ‘Breakmas!’
November 29th, 2007 - 09:38
Is Buckley’s cough syrup the one they advertise by just admitting it tastes like ass?
November 29th, 2007 - 09:40
Hahaha. Yeah, ham flavored beverages are not unknownst to youse guys ;-)
I do wonder too what Christmas Tree tastes like.
November 29th, 2007 - 10:05
Yeah, the slogan is “It tastes awful. And it works”. It has a lot of piney type ingredients, specifically Camphor, Menthol, Canada Balsam, Pine Needle Oil, and Capsicum.
yum.
Seriously tho, it probably tastes much like the Jones Christmas Tree.

Liquid jelly doughnut?? All my dreams have come true.
November 29th, 2007 - 10:18
I know, right?
November 29th, 2007 - 11:44
last year, the thanksgiving pack tasted horrible. vile. evil.
November 29th, 2007 - 11:51
I remember.
That’s what’s fun about it!
November 29th, 2007 - 13:07
HAMSHOT!
I still have that bottle somewhere.
I like the idea of paying the kids to drink this stuff. I wonder if any of my cousins are still young enough to be so easily swayed by quarters…
November 29th, 2007 - 15:30
I love you guys. I’m SO getting a game of Jones soda quarters going with my nieces and nephews over Christmas (ages 4-9). I’m sure my sisters will love you, too.

I bought one of these sets for my best friend last year. I was sad when he said he wanted to keep it as a collectable… which meant no tasting. But I’ll be buying one for myself this year, so I can get a taste that I’ll probably regret. Lol!
:D

Michael, ain’t nothin’ like the lovely rush of high-fructose corn syrup coursing through your veins.
Howtoeatacupcake – buy two! One for drinking, one for saving.
November 29th, 2007 - 15:58
Yeah, we were drinking ham flavored beverages for years! Hell, I seem to recall having some of that stuff coming out of my nose. As a Buckley, I take no responsibility for the taste of my namesake cough syrup. As for Christmas Tree flavored soda, I would think it tastes a lot like gin.
November 29th, 2007 - 22:48
mmmmmmmmmmm, gin.
November 30th, 2007 - 10:52
I might get these for our christmas eve gathering, and try mixing them with assorted booze to see what kinds of cocktails we can come up with. Hamtini? Scotch Pine?
November 30th, 2007 - 11:01
Ooh, if you do that, let me know how it turns out. Hamtini is awesome. Instead of an olive, spear a cherry or chunk of pineapple.
November 30th, 2007 - 11:09
YES! Brilliant! and some cloves need to be involved. Oh I am excited.
November 30th, 2007 - 11:14
The Egg-nog I think would be a good little cocktail addition. mmmm christmas drinking, so festive. So Stephanie, what time should we all come over to taste test! ;)
November 30th, 2007 - 11:36
yeah, Steph, what time should we all show up?
