Wednesday, January 09, 2008 at 11:50amI just discovered that method soap (my favorite!) is now selling refills! Awesome. Still waiting on refills for the shower cleaner, though.

Yay! I was just moaning about that at the store last weekend. I feel guilty about the wastefulness of buying new bottles over and over again. I hope they get them in the stores soon.

oh I know!!!!!!!!!!! Method is SOOOO my fave. I love “sweet water.” It’s even better than “Clean Linen” by Glade. FG when you test out a product by Method, want to post about it so we can learn? (sorry if you already have and I missed it.) For example, I read that those aroma “rings” for air fresheners don’t work very well. However, I really like the aroma pill, which is similar to the Glade oil plug-in. The candles are the best I think.
Once I discovered they make laundry detergent and even dryer sheets, I reached a level of happiness one notch beyond nirvana.

Sweet Water is my fave, too. I just ordered a refill.
Haven’t tried the aroma rings. I tried the aroma pill once and I just remember it being messy. Probably my own fault. I FLOVE their candles. The scents are strong without being pervasive. Although the holiday cinnamon one gave my friend Elda an allergy attack, whoops.
I found their laundry stuff to be a bit too expensive for everyday use, though.
I love their bathroom cleaners and I feel safe using them (I’m allergic to bleach).
Method should be sending me free crap, man!

My mom is obsessed with their granite cleaner. It has a fantastic smell.
Thanks for the heads up on the refill! I have the green tea handsoap in my kitchen, and I was just wondering how to get over the guilt of buying a 4 dollar container again. Yay Method! I like the pouches too, less waste is always good.

Refills? Awesome! That was my only gripe about the products…. as I am not a fan of generating more plastic waste.
Hope they make their way to Canadian shelves! Our big drugstore chain sells method products, so I’ll keep my eyes on the shelves.
Right now i’ve been using this soap:
Kiss my Face, Grapefruit and Bergamot. You can buy a huge refill bottle.. it lasts FOREBBER!

You’re talking about the ylang ylang scented shower cleaner, right? They do sell refill bottles, I can usually find it at Target.

my bank account definitely didn’t need a method reminder…

Rebecca, I can’t find the refill bottles anymore! I will check Target next time I’m there. Thanks.
