   I have the same mouse. Right now, one of our red kitties is sleeping on it.

   Not to bring the comments down, but this seems as good a place as any to let you know that your cat posts have been cathartic as we have recoved from our 8 year old cat Bennigan dying a couple of weeks ago. So, thanks for that.

   By the way, I think our other cat Jade could give Meena a run for her money in the “scaring the sh*t out of people” category. She has scared two separate babysitters to the point where they refused to come out of a room until we got home and shooed her away. Shoot, who needs dogs when we have cats like this?

    Exactly. She’s all, “Dontcha want to pet this soft, furry tum-tum?” and then when you do, it’s all a blur of hissing and claws and blood.

    FG, funny you would go there. The reason he was named Bennigan is because we found him as a kitten in a Bennigan’s parking lot (insert lame excuse for why we were eating at Bennigan’s in the first place). We did actually find the humor in Bennigan’s announcing their shutdown almost immediately thereafter. We’re pretty sure our cat was somehow the only thing able to keep them out of Chapter 7 for all of those years.
