Mammogram Complete!
Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 11:44amI got my mammogram today. Since I was last there two years ago, the office switched from film to digital images. Which was WAY cool, because as soon as I was finished, I could walk over to the computer and check out my own boobs. The tech told me that some of the doctors are having trouble adjusting from reading film to reading digital images. Because the digital shows so much more detail, they tend to notice things they didn’t in the past and some doctors are doing a lot of double-checking. I’m glad she told me that — now if I get a callback, I won’t be worried. Anyway, I was in and out of there in 15 minutes, so make your damn appointment already.
