uhhhhhhh.
I, uh, just, ummm. I watched it without the sound (though I had it playing in my head) and I just spent 5 minutes after it ended, staring at my computer with furrowed brow.
Thanks for sharing?

These are some of the most brilliant things I’ve seen on the internet in years. This one is my favorite: http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=RUUNslMcGh8

Triple J, I must respectfully disagree.

Yeah, really. I’d use many words to describe Lasagna Cat, but “brilliant” isn’t one of them.

What I’m trying to understand is if these videos were made as-is, or as a spoof of the guy who made the live-action versions of the comic strips. Because it seems like they kind of end after the original comic strip is revealed, we hear a laughtrack, and then it picks up again with a music video take on the live action interpretation of the comic strip.
I’m probably thinking about this way too much. But it would just make more sense to me if it was the result of two separate actions by two separate people, instead of a really odd creative format choice for one person.
Anyway … definitely the most bizarre thing I’ve seen all week.

Okay. They are made by Fatal Farm:

So they are parody. They still scare me. All I know is that someone on Metafilter said that they should do “Cathy” next, and I could not agree more.
Their “TV Themes” are totally awesome and weird as well:

So I went to Fatal Farm thinking “Now this will make sense.”
I watched a “TV Theme where Dan Hedaya’s head is superimposed over those of The Munsters. (Marilyn Munster STILL has it goin’ on, BTW,) Anyway, my brain is cold and hurty now.
