Kitten Update
Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 09:43amIt’s been a whole week since Benny died and I still can’t think about it without crying. I will try to take some pictures or video of Mattie later, though. He is getting so big! He’s become really playful and loves getting his head rubbed and chewing on my hair.

I never even met him and I can’t think about it without getting teary. I can’t tell you how much I admire you guys for fostering the kitties. I think Benny is a real reminder of how meaningful what you do is. You made the end of his life safe, warm, and full of love.

FG - in feb, i had to put both my cats down (Iong, really sad story). i still hear phantom meows and it’s been 2 months. you’ll never forget little benny, but you did take him in and give him lots of love and cuddles and good times when he could still have them. you did the best thing you could. make sure you keep that thought with you when you think of lil benny!
