OH NO! Must have been scary for her! Sophie did that once when she was a kitten (um, with pee in the toilet - don’t ask) and she was FREAKED OUT for a while.

She was not scared or freaked out. It was like it didn’t even happen. Also, it’s the second time she’s done it.
(Don’t think we’re putting them in any danger - the only time that lid is open is when we toss in their litterbox poos. So, yeah, she fell into poo water.)
Also, one time, Meena fell in the tub while I was taking a bath and I don’t know that she ever recovered from the humiliation.

I would pay full admission to watch Meena fall into a tub and freak out.

Time to keep the toilet lid closed–LOL
Does she get into the sink too? Our(2yr. old) Wally loves for us to let water trickle out of the faucet so he can drink.
We just got two NEW kittens that are 3 months old –Cosmo(grey tiger stripe) and Ginger (like Wally is marmalade orange something like Morris the cat).
Wally is not pleased. Cosmo and Ginger are his offspring so maybe he is not happy that he got stuck with “the kids”.

Our cat, Smokey, not only likes to drink from the kitchen faucet — she insists on it. She will jump up onto the sink and meow until someone turns the water on. All this with a large bowl of fresh water nearby.

Colder water from the faucet maybe?
I change the contents of the water bowl daily and even put ice cubes to make it cold but the faucet just can’t be beat–LOL
