KITTEHS
Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 10:28amThe kittehs are here! Both calico girls, one longhair, one shorthair. The longhair is adorable and sweet and I’m going to have to give her a bath, as she has poo all caught and dried in her backside. The shorthair is terrified and evil and growly and hissy. Poor thing. They need a cleanup before phototime. And I don’t think I can even photograph the shorthair without help. I think I’m going to name them Mary-Kate and Ashley, unless you guys can come up with something better.

love the names and have fun with the poop

Yeah, Mary-Kate may end up having to get a haircut as well. Icky poo.

Butt haircut. We were this close to clipping down the long hair around Jonah’s butt and back legs because of all that diarrhea when we first got him, but we cured it before we got around to the haircut.
Long-haired calico! So pretty.

can’t wait for pix of your “olsen girls”…does that make meena–john stamos?
freakgirl on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 11:17 am
She’s more like Uncle Joey.
GeekBoy on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 11:19 am
Yeah, Long Legs would be John Stamos.

Just so you know, Sophie is a calico and our friends have a calico named Jesse and based on those two I can honestly say that calicos are crazy (though our Soph is super sweet, too). Have fun and can’t wait for photos!!!

Mary-Kate and Ashley! Love it. Can’t wait for pictures!

Yay! Calicos like Miss Sally!
freakgirl on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 12:11 pm
Yep - Ashely looks a lot like Sally’s baby pictures.
These babies are going to be tough ones. They hiss and spit and scratch; they’re terrified of me. Mary Kate is a little bit more relaxed, but Ashley is nearly feral. Poor little kitties. In good news, though, they know how to use the litterbox. Thank god.

I bet they warm up in a couple of days, when they see you don’t want to hurt them. Aw. Poor mistrustful kitties. I LOVE THEM.
I feel so empty now. I need to have a baby or some kitties in the next 5 minutes or I’m going to lose my mind.
freakgirl on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 1:45 pm
Now THAT would be something to blog about.

ADORABLE! I was going to suggest Laverne and Shirley! We almost adopted two beagles with those names. But, guess what? Apparently beagles do not mix well with cats. We currently have 9 cats…all black…we took in a pregnant stray and she recently gifted us with FIVE kittens! Anyone want to adopt one? So, are they Mary-Kate and Ashely? Love it!
