Yes, yes, YES. This mindset is the one to which I aspire and is also the reason I am not dreading my 40th birthday. (yet)

I know, right? I heart her.
she rocked oprah’s house. i think now my dream double-date would have to be my wife & i with jamie lee and christopher guest.
I swear – my life got MORE fun after I turned 40. It’s like everything clicks into place or something!
I’m having the best years EVER! :-)
I’d like to be 30 again, but not if it means I have to give up all I’ve learned about myself and about life and about people.
It feels good to mean that.
I adore Jamie Lee Curtis.
I loved turning 30, and I suspect I’ll be happy when I turn 40. The way I look at it is I have pretty much all I ever wanted — great partner, happy kids, good friends, a decent home, enough money to pay my bills, a passion for what I do, and a life that’s fun more often than not. So I’ve got crow’s feet now and my boobs aren’t where they were when I was 20. Well, I laugh a lot and the girls have fed a couple of kids. I can think of worse ways to age a body.
As my dad always says about aging…it’s better than the alternative. :-)
