I’ve Been Neglecting You…

…and I’m sorry. Life has been busy. I feel like I’m working constantly. When I’m not working, I’m sick. I’m actually going to be seeing an immunologist soon, as I fear my immune system might have been a little damaged by my hospital stay and the massive amount and variety of antiobiotics I had.

Derby is going great. I love my new team and I love the atmosphere. I haven’t been able to skate much the past two practices because of a respiratory infection but I still go because I just want to be there. It’s a nice feeling.

I’m also keeping very busy socially — even though I get stressed out because I’m always short on time, I seem to stay more mentally positive when I am staying in touch with my friends. Still working to find that balance!

So far, 2011 isn’t all that bad for me. Stay tuned.
