   He “doesn’t know enough” about either contraceptive pills or Viagra to have an opinion? Last I checked he was pretty old (SNL told me so!), and you’d think a person that lives that long has somehow heard of one of these common medicines and knows what they do. You know. Just by virtue of being alive.

   “Don’t know enough about it” = “I’m not an agile enough thinker to speak about a something that is undeniably hypocritical.” Since there really was no right answer here, what he probably should have done was just laugh, acknowledge that it did seem to be a contradictory state of affairs, and tell the reporter that he’ll look into it. Instead, he looked like a deer caught in the headlights.

   This is promising, though. As we all suspected, McCain isn’t quick on his feet. All Obama has to do in the debates is start asking him questions like, “Why do we drive on the parkway … and park in the driveway?” and McCain will fall apart.
