i like it here. it's nice.

I’m in Florida! With wireless! And sun! I wasn’t here for ten minutes before my sister slapped a blood-filled mosquito off my shoulder.

HA! I just noticed the title of this thread. I can’t wait to tell Al.

As soon as I typed it, I thought of Al and chuckled.

And then I thought, “Who the hell uses the word chuckled?”

    Hi Mom, I’m in JAIL!

That photo makes me seethe with a kind of jealousy you only hear about on Dr. Phil.

You know what else is adorable? The little icons in the form here when you leave a comment. Are those new or have they always been there? Love them!

I think you slightly resemble Amy Sedaris in this photo? It’s super cute. You look like you’re thinking something snarky. #

Please wear your bug spray!!! I actually got West Nile Virus last October from a bug bite in my yard in PA. Be careful! I never thought I would get it at age 32- but I did. Now - I get a rash from hell and fevers off and on. No fun! That’s my PSA for the day! I love your site - you rock!

  24. freakgirl on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 4:18 pm

Is West Nile an issue down here in FL? I think they spray here. That sucks you contracted it. #

Regardless, point taken. I don’t leave the house without dipping myself in bug repellent. I hate it, because the natural stuff doesn’t work for me so I have to use nasty Off brand. But if I don’t, I end up covered in welts and scabs. And really, even though I’ve been using it religiously, my legs are still covered.

They do spray in FL and they test a lot in PA too!!!! I hate bug spray too. I think it’s hilarious that at the Outer Banks a few years ago I got a zillion bites and I was fine. One in my backyard and I’m totally screwed! Go figure.
