I Am Freaking Out
Earlier this morning I noticed a centipede skitter underneath the bar. A few moments ago, I noticed it up near the ceiling. A few seconds ago, I HEARD IT FALL FROM THE CEILING AND OHMYGOD I CAN’T FIND IT. My skin feels like it’s crawling off my body.

Join the club. I once had one of those house centipedes on the ceiling, and I tried and tried and tried to ignore it.. that is until it FELL NEXT TO ME!
I’d never screamed so loud in my life.

Oh that is just so disgusting. So far this year we have either been very lucky in terms of bugs/spiders trying to get in from the cold, or the cats are eating them all.

The geekboy spotted it near the patio door and tossed it outside. Thank god. OUR HOUSE IS CLEAN.
It’s 7:30pm and we’ve had TWO trick-or-treaters. Fuck this neighborhood.

Oh my god. I suffered through 2 years of horrible house centipedes. We called exterminators. They sprayed. The centipedes survived. They came, sprayed again, and they still survived. We ended up hunting most of them down, but dear lord, I sympathize with your pain. I found a 3 inch one in the bathtub.
Good luck.

We get these bizarro, giant bugs called mole crickets in the basement from time to time. Think enormous half-cricket, half spider thing that LEAPS AROUND LIKE SUPERMAN ON CRACK. Our exterminator told us that they are the only critters that actually scare him, not because they bite or anything, but because they are the most frakking creepy ass things on Earth.

Yeah, I’d rather die than ever see one of those. :: shudder ::
Thank god we don’t have a basement.

ICKY bugs–make me itchy.
I can’t rest till a bug is dead and gone.
We had 3 trick-or-treaters. At our old place we never had any. Everyone goes downtown to the children’s museum(http://www.stockton.ca.us/childrensmuseum/index.cfm)
or church based events.
Hope you all had/have a good Halloween.

I think they like to freak you out when you’re sleeping:
My friend had a centipede crawl across her face while she was sleeping.
I left some gross toothpaste-spit water in a glass next to my bed and forgot about it for a month or so. When I finally went to clean it up, there was a huge, black centipede (5 or 6 inches long) stuck to the sides of the now-empty glass. Right near my head! Maybe you could leave toothpaste spit as a trap…

Ummm….I’m totally freaking out now. Where the hell do you all live that you are seeing these huge ass bug/centipedes??!
Last year we moved from a neighborhood where we would go through at least six bags of candy on Halloween (not including the extra two bags for us to eat)to a neighborhood where this year four was a lot. It sucks because we have all of the cool decorations and the smoke and strobe lights. The neighbors probably thought we were crazy.

It’s pretty sad when your one typo is in your name.
