Ah, it’s the Monday after a long, long weekend. So tough to get back on track. I have much to do this week! Work to finish, dinner with Beth tomorrow, Canadian arrival on Wednesday, party on Saturday! My liver is already trembling in anticipation. As for the past few days, our Thanksgiving Day was lovely and filling. We spent the rest of the weekend doing various household chores and, as you can see in the photos above, I made some treats. Drool-worthy! I also started knitting a bag to give as a Christmas gift. Oh, and on Friday, Lisa and I went to see For Your Consideration. Hilarious, but not the best of his films. But still - Catherine O’Hara is amazing. Later that night we watched Totally Awesome. Totally worth it. How about you all? Good weekend?

Great weekend for the Sennebryants!
Good food and family fun on Thursday.
Went to see Running With Scissors Friday - AWESOME movie. Some of the best ensemble acting I’ve seen in years, so freakin good.
Friday night was sushi out and a show - a tribute to The Last Waltz - various performers doing The Band’s classic concert.
Saturday was work on the house day.
Sunday was more work and some football viewing.
Now I’m back at work and want to DIE.

I just have to say this…Beth, I don’t know you, or know anything about you beyond your comments here. But i pressed buttons and got to your blog, which, i will admit, I skimmed, but I have to say, I have complete respect for someone who can write the word “FUCK” in an entry about knitting. How perfect the combination of seemingly disparate personalities, the knitter and the swearing sailor. that’s what I’m thankful for - actual people who aren’t stereotypes.

Interestingly enough, though, Beth is no stranger to using the word fuck. Although I think usually it has something to do with sports.

Hee, Chips, there is a lot of swearing in knitting! I’ve just started spinning and there is a whole lot of swearing involved with that, too. I’ve been known to knit at the drive-in, waiting for it to get dark so the movie can start, with a cigarette hanging out of my mouth. I’m dainty.
