Happy St. Patrick’s Day

happy st. pat's Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone! Anyone have big plans tonight?

I’m making a shepherd’s pie, with green cupcakes for dessert. The fridge is stocked with Harp and Guinness, and Lisa is coming over for dinner. Mellow, but fun. Perhaps we’ll pop into the Irish bar down the road later on.

    We did St. Patty’s last nite. Made Potato soup and Irish soda bread which everybody loved but the kids.

    This morning, got up and made green oatmeal and green milk for my 5 year old (she was delighted.)

    Apparently, I’m the only dork at work wearing green today!!!!

    I’m wearing green! And I have my 2 year old dressed in about 3 different shades of green today.

    I’m spending way too much time trying to find free Irish music to listen to online this morning. Any suggestions?

    Billy Bragg & the Pogues with Lisa and Charlie last night was enough. It was a lot of fun. The crowd was drunken and rowdy, but good natured. Now I’m munching on Lisa’s yummy irish soda bread. Nobody makes it as good as she does. I assume you’ll have some of that later. Drink a Guinness for me, as I can’t drink - I’m on meds #
